the mind's eye"

...a celebration of perception and spirit. What the individual
sees and feels inside when taking in abstract art is exclusively
their own. From ancestral longing, sensuality, vitality,
tranquility, violence, enlightenment, the supernatural, the
pondering of origins, these artists touch on all different
aspects of the mind's eye. An array of intense colors, the
exhibit includes works of nature taken to the abstract,
suggesting a fresh look at what surrounds us everyday .. a peak
into the artist's mind and his/her perception.
Inner Solstice includes a varied group of photographers ranging
from a blind woman who constructs her own cameras, to a surfer
who literally immerses himself in his subject, to a Finnish
woman who looks for answers in the solitude of a drop. |
