Like the theater royal of the old art deco era, I have created effortless and understated pieces that enthrall, captivate and hold the audience spellbound.
I have been inspired by the regal tones of the old theater costumes with their decorative vintage adornments and have embellished my collection with a delicate mixture of feathers and stunning antique ornamental jewels.
The ANAESSIA Winter 2010 ‘encore performance’ inspired by the theater royal and the sophisticated old-school glamour of the 1920’s and the 1950’s. Is all about cosy, beautiful and feminine pieces that give the aura of quiet content and understated simplicity whilst still making an entrance.
The palette of French imported fabrics consists of a combination of rich, body skimming velvets in royal ‘port wine’, emerald embroidered viscose and frothy tulle pieces in delectable creams and various shades of emerald and amethyst. Denim brings the collection from the old theater to the new.
